Nov. 20, 2014 was WHOA’s annual turkey giveaway at El Cholo Restaurant in La Habra, CA. This is a great example of the great friends and relationships we have made in the community. Thanks to Ron Salisbury, owner of the El Cholo restaurants, our Vets have a place to come together every month. And let’s not forget Vance Bennett of Albertson’s in Carson who makes sure we have plenty of turkeys for Thanksgiving and toys for Christmas for our Vets and their families every year. This is an example of business leaders stepping up to make life a little better for those that have sacrificed so much for all of us.
