I am a retiree of the US Army, medically. I served the Army about 3years. When I was stained in Fort Riley, Kansas in 2013, I was in a combat military training. I fell from a Humvee and injured. I am still suffering my physical disabilities, TBI, and etc.
Mother and I live far away from Korean community, and we just stay home. When I met Mike and Wendy from Wounded Heroes of America, they brought us out from home to their community. We have participated memorable events. I met other veterans and their families same as us. I have realized we are not alone. They were always welcomed us, and we talked a lot. It makes us really happy and not feels isolated from this community. I really appreciate for their help to bring us out.
