To my fellow vets:
My name is Ralph I served with 2nd Battalion 5th Marines 1st Marine Division. I was stationed in Al Samawah Iraq in 2003 and I deployed for a second tour to Ar Ramadi Iraq in 2004-2005. I was with a heavy machine gun team and our job was to find the threat and eliminate it. We lost 15 guys including my roommate and my driver.
As a combat veteran I can relate to most of you with the injuries, PTSD and traumatic events from the war. The one thing I have learned from my experience is to keep pressing on. To focus on the now family, friends and whatever makes you happy. I am now a father of two wonderful children Jeremiah and Grace. I am a husband to an amazing wife Jody.
