Mike TalledaTestimonials

I never expected it to impact my family like it has. It has not only benefited my husband and I but as well as our three children Jonathan, Audrey and Luke, plus one more bun in the oven. The monthly dinners at El Cholo have been something we all look forward to. My husband and I enjoy the time catching up with fellow veterans and their wives, and our children love playing with the other kids. We all can relate to the same things only veterans and their families experience. This is a great outlet for my family and veteran families as well.  Along with the annual bike rides, fundraisers, baby showers, firework stand, and other holiday festivities.

The WHOA organization is like a brotherhood and a family. The foundation has always welcomed us with open arms. Mike is the glue that holds us all together. He is an angel and we are very grateful to have such a caring, passionate Mentor, father figure, and friend. I cannot thank him enough for the things he has done and continues to do for my husband and our family as well as for all of you. But we wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the courage and bravery that each one of you has given; in time of war. Now that you veterans are home I know it’s hard to adapt to everyday life. I see the struggles my husband and fellow veterans have on a daily basis.  It feels good to know we belong to an organization that cares so much for the well being of our veterans. I thank each and every one of you for your sacrifice to this beautiful nation. No words can express the gratitude I have.
