We met Alroy at his Purple Heart Ceremony at the Long Beach VA. in 2007. We’ve become like family and together we have helped many other combat wounded vets on the Navajo Reservation.
April 21, 2025, Alroy Billiman and Mike Talleda were recognized by the Navajo Nation’s Spring Council for their work with Navajo combat-wounded vets. It was a fantastic honor to receive this recognition for the work of Wounded Heroes of America. I’m proud to say we have a lot of friends on the Navajo Nation.
