We had our 8th annual Wounded Heroes of America vs. San Gabriel Valley Marines softball game and picnic, and we’re getting better, people! It wasn’t a blowout like in previous years; the final score was 7 to 8.
We gave it to ’em again, but it was touch-and-go. We saw a bunch of double plays, mainly thanks to our ladies, who were tough out in the field.
All in all, it was a great day. Awesome music was provided by our DJ, Angel, who also happens to be a vet. A huge thanks goes to Mr. and Mrs. Martinez for their fabulous burgers and hot dogs, and to everyone who contributed to making it such a wonderful time once again.
